pioneer festival

took my camera to the festival and snapped away.

i had apple fritters for the first time and wow were they delicious!

i've got to get my hands on more.

i didn't know that this fest was so extensive. there were lots of things so pretty and colorful.

you know i was in photographers heaven! ha!

it was nice to be out even thought it was so cold and windy.

spring walks

spring is the season for little walks before dinner. 

a lovely time indeed, especially when you have some adorable company!

the sun covered everything in this golden light. it was quite nice to be out.

i couldn't help but follow these two little people around.

 they played in the puddles but 

my favorite was watching little abby walk around so confidently.

so cute!

i love spring because i can open up my windows and let in the fresh air.

my bedroom window has been open all week!

thankful thursday november

 

this week i am thankful for the colors of this season,

the red and yellow trees seem magical to a girl who grew up in the desert. 

i seriously get excited every time i pass one by. it never gets old!

these colors are slowly slipping away as the winds have brought us snow producing clouds and temperatures.  i am very thankful that the snow has come later this year too.

i am thankful that my husband did the grocery shopping this week.

also, for late night throwing with my classmates and the laughter we share!

it definitely lifts the spirit! i think it effected us for this photo shoot.

this is the gorgeous eiler family who are also dear friends. my goodness, don't they shine!
