san diego | Cabrillo + La Jolla

San Diego | day 1

our San Diego adventures are going excellent! 

we found Cabrillo National Monument, a park where you get breathtaking 

views of the surrounding area.

if you look at a map you can see it is situated in a pretty neat spot 

right at the tip of Point Loma.

it is a beautiful place with a historic lighthouse

and statue of Juan Rodriguez Cabrillo.

after that we headed to La Jolla Cove, a family favorite.

we made a bit of adventure out of it by exploring the crevices in the rocks.

we climbed them and searched for interesting creatures living inside.

we found a crab!

we stopped in Old Town but i'll share those pictures with you another day.

 i am tired and our days here are 

pretty long, but i have to say, it is a real blessing to be here!
