a day at the zoo
where you get to feed the ducks and geese
and watch the catfish try and steal the food from them!
where the little ones get to splash in the fountain and talk in an old
style telephone booth!
where you get o ride a carousel and a longboat that goes
by the kangaroos!
where the jellyfish are amazingly beautiful.
though as i was admiring them and telling my friend Angela
how beautiful they were a girl walks by
and said that they were very ugly!
i was offended!
how could anyone say that about these lovely creatures?
we started off on the Australian adventure loop
because that is Samuel's and Lucy's favorite.
we also made it through the Indonesian loop and saw orangutans.
the wonderful rainforest set up cooled us off after much heat on the Australian path.
i'll have to go back and walk through the African loop next time!
i love the Ft. Wayne zoo!
