this weekend i drove to Kentucky to take maternity pictures of my dear good friend Elizabeth and
on the way i got lost. what was suppose to be a 4.5 hour drive ended up being a 7 hour drive.
i was supposed to end up in the Lexington area but ended up in Louisville!
i kept stopping and asking people to help me find my way and they kept telling me
i was far away and had many more miles to go.
it was getting late and i was tired, so hearing those words
made me want to cry! i thought i was going to have to get a hotel and find the place in the morning.
all i kept thinking was "this is NOT the life!" and i blame google maps for it!
i did reach my destination near midnight and was happy i made it to their cozy house safely.
this was the first time i really thought that i could use a cell phone. it's gotta happen soon, a cell
phone in the Alexander household!
so the next day was a whole lot better. i got to spend the whole day
with my friend and catch up on things. i took her pictures all around town and made her walk and climb.
you have to be very gentle with pregnant women, they are carrying precious cargo.
i hope i didn't exhaust you too much Elizabeth!
thank you for letting me have the pleasure of taking your very first maternity pictures.
you are so beautiful and i hope sometime i can photograph the baby!
Gen
