I finished the cover of my Life Journal! I have been super inspired by callages lately and decided to use that technique for my cover. Robert Rauschenburg's assemblages have been inspiring me lately! He is one of my favorite artists! Check out these amazing callages by Timothy Gierschikwork.
I am slowly filling up my Life Journal. We have been getting wedding and graduation invitations in the mail. They will add so much design to my journal! I also added big headline news from the newspaper to add a bit of historical content ( I am not so sure I want a huge picture of bin Laden in my journal.) I laminated the newspaper to preserve it better, it was my first time as you can see with its wrinkled look. I have noticed that my journal is getting to be too thick so I will add less bulky stuff and stick to more writing.
I am thrilled that I have a summer break so that I can work on my own projects!
