warmified

It's so nice to be home in my own bed. We had a good week away but there's no place like home! Being on the road makes me feel dirty especially when I have to stay in one of those cheap motels on the side of the highway.

We had a great time with family. We did a lot of walking which we didn't mind after being couped up during the winter for so long. We mostly walked around Columbia University, an area we haven't yet explored in the three trips we've made to the city. We stopped at a bookstore, ate at a Cubin restaurant and enjoyed the colorful neighborhood of Harlem. Lots of colors and smells on this walk.

I set these pictures to warm tones. They include more of us and a few are not from this particular walk but I included them because they had faces rather than objects.

    Does anyone recognize this restaurant?

     David was excited to be near the University's philosophy department.
