this weekend

 A few of my goals for this year were to learn something new and to craft more. This weekend I hope to do a bit of crocheting, particularly learning how to crochet amigurumi animals. I bought Mr. Funky's Super Crochet Wonderful at Half Price Books to get started.

I remember going over to my nana's house and watching her crochet. She showed me a few times how to crochet but it never stuck with me because I wouldn't practice it everyday. I am trying to pick this hobby back up. I have been practicing this past week watching video tutorials and looking at blogs that focus on crochet. And my sister a while back gave me a little lesson because she remembered when nana showed us. It came back easy for me and I have been able to follow along with the tutorials. There are still some things that are confusing but I hope to figure them out without frustration!

Also, I am hoping to finish a project I am working on with these tags I have been collecting for a while. I don't know why but I can seem to throw these out because they are so pretty. I figured I can craft or scrapbook with them.
