Things going on in the A house.

We have been doing a bit of furniture shopping these past couple of weeks. We needed a night stand and Angel needed a desk. Actually, we have been needing these items for awhile now but we shop around before we purchase anything. The kids don't like it because they know we will go to every store until we find the thing we want. We usually get a deal for being so patient. Here is the nightstand we bought at an estate sale. It's an Ethan Allen and in great condition. All we did to update it was change out the knobs. We are very happy with it.

Another cool find at goodwill. This desk for Angel. The top flips up for storage. It is so cute and perfect for her. We set it up and right away Angel stashed her things in it. When she was finished she opened up the drawer so she can show me the inside and pulled a little hard. The drawer went flying and the stuff fell out. Then she noticed a piece of paper tucked away in the back. She pulled it out. It was an arby's ad with coupons to cut out. I don't know why but we decided to look at the expiration date of the coupon and saw that it expired in 1989. For some reason we thought that was cool and showed it to David. Then as we looked at it even closer we saw that it was an ad from 1989 and the locations for it were Austin, WACO, Temple, Killeen. Wow, things just got weird. Baylor University is even on there, on the Waco map. Did this table travel from Texas too? We were meant to meet!
