Frozen Lake Michigan

It is still so cold here in Grand Rapids. We are so ready for spring, maybe even temperatures that are in the 40's. We took a small trip to Grand Haven while our friend visited us from Waco. We all wanted to check out the frozen Lake. It was a pretty cool experience. It was like we were in Antarctica! I thought that a penguin or polar bear might walk by.

I took this picture standing on a frozen wave. You have to be careful where you walk. This was a thin layer of ice with water underneath. We ere measuring the depth with a stick.
