Lansing, Michigan

Today was a very cold day. We woke up to snow falling, it was pretty cool. We have been wanting to see more of Michigan but didn't want to make any big trips right now and decided that Lansing was a place to you could visit in a day. It is a bit smaller than Grand Rapids and is about 40 mi. away. We found out that Lansing isn't so cool of a town except the area around MSU. The campus is really big and there is a college type atmosphere right off the campus with shops and restaurants probably one of the better ones I've seen. The Capitol is in downtown Lansing so that was neat to see. We ended our night eating at a pizza place that had unusaul kinds of pizza ingredients. I tried the black bean pizza that was topped with black beans, red onion, feta cheese and tomatos, it was delicous! David tried the nacho pizza which of course was topped with everything that nachos would have, very good! Julian tried the baked potato pizza that tasted just like potato skins or a baked potato, it was good. But we all agreed that mine was the best! Our handy dandy map!
Our handy dandy driver!
