Pumpkin Patch Gangstas

Today we went to the Post Family Farm. I heard about it from the family I work for. The weather was beautiful and the farm was pretty crowded, but that didn't matter to us. As soon as we arrived we ate a couple of pumpkin donuts. They were amazing!

We took a hay ride (twice) to a corn crop maze that was cut to match the olympic rings. None of us had ever walked through a corn maxe before. Very fun! From the corn maze we took a hayride to the pumpkin patch--most definitely my favorite part of the day. At the pumpkin patch we filled a small bag with small pumpkins and picked two medium sized pumpkins. There were so many ripe pumpkins to choose from! After the pumpkin patch the kids played on some piles of hay, rode a train pulled by a tractor, and watched some farm animals. After about 4 hours we left the farm. Oh, and if your wondering about the title of this entry, it was David's idea!

  2. For the record, that was Jonathan's post. I wouldn't want him to check back here and think I was taking credit for keeping in touch with you. (I always sign my blog comment posts; apparently he doesn't!)
